Chloe Loves the Beach

My dog Chloe jogging happilly around the beach at low tide.

Here she is pawing at a piece of seaweed.

Running in the distance.

Looking around at the horizon.

Jogging happilly through the water.

And finding something else to paw at!

Naturefull

A bush at Trout Lake.

One of the looming trees at Trout Lake.

An old leaf near Boundary Bay.

The canopy of a tree at Trout Lake.

A bush on a tree at Trout Lake.

A "Secret Trail" in Whytecliff Park.

Flowering

This is a Poppy that was just outside my house in my mom's garden, it grew though. It looks like a bugs eyes with its tongue sticking out!

This is a purple flower that was also in my mom's garden.

A Trout Lake Buttercup.

A bright orange and yellow flower near my house.

A Purple Gazania in a pot on the stairs to my house.

Somethings fishy about this first shot...

A fish fading into the distance that I shot, this one is actually at Trout Lake! I mean, how many people have seen a fish in Trout Lake! I've only seen maybe... 10 or so in my lifetime! So to get a shot of one is pretty awesome, usually they just jump right out of the water in the middle of the lake and you barely see them, this guy was in the water inches away from the dock! I got three shots of him/her, but this ones the best.

This is a duck that I saw at Trout Lake, I really like this 'cause the ducks pulling out his feathers in it.

A couple of sea snails that I got a shot of in Boudary Bay.

Male and female adult ducks that I got just moments before I saw the fish.

More Iona!

A newfangled sundial that I call the...Woodial!!!

A crack in the sand in the middle of where I pressed my feet in.

I WUZ THERE!!!

This is some burnt wood on top of some seaweed, it looks like it's been gouged.

A multicoloured rock I shot!

Iona Beach!

My footprints.

This piece of wood looks like a... HUMONGOUS GIANT HUGE dragon claw!!! With seaweed on it!

I think this piece of wood looks like a... DRAGON CLAW!!!

This is a pink clam cluster my mom saw, it's pretty cool.

These are Chloe's paw prints on Iona Beach at low tide.

This is an underwater clam's air bubbles!

Chloe!

Here's my dog Chloe climbing around at Whytecliff Park.

Chloe in the car, on our way home from Whytecliff Park and lunch.

Park and Beach Landscapes

This is a cool little inlet I saw at Whytecliff Park, I clambered up on some rocks to get this shot, it was fun!

This a fallen tree, also found at Whytecliff Park, This one was just a quick snap, but it came out pretty well.

I really like this one, mainly because of the jagged edging of the rocks, it looks pretty cool. It's another Whytecliff Park shot.

This is a landscape shot of Trout Lake, right behind those bushes is a walkway to the dock where I got the ducklings and the rat!

This is a tree at Trout Lake, It's not that far away from my previous shot.

These are a couple of rocks that were just barely above the water, so the ocean swirled and crashed aroud them! it was pretty cool. This is in Whytecliff Park.

A landscape shot of Mt. Baker from Boundary Bay.

Many Photos of Many Things That I Think Look Cool!

That's a diver duck and his/her family. It's a bit blurry, but it still looks pretty wicked!

This is a crab that I saw on a treck at Boundary Bay in low tide with the Gr.6 classes in my school, my classmate James L. picked him/her up when I exclaimed "Crab!" and scrambled to take a shot of him/her before he/she got away, James ruined my first shot and carried the crab for almost 20min. meanwhile I trailed very nearby hoping to get a shot, after he'd taken it for a while I said "You should put it down James." I mean, now it had to learn a whole new area for food! But he just kept going, so when he finally put it down I took a couple of shots before leaving it alone. Though it was pretty funny when James put the crab in our crab-scared teacher Mr. Kirby's backpack! He squirmed about for a few seconds before James took out the crab. Though I still felt sorry for the crab, that must've been scary for him/her. Probably much more than Mr. Kirby!
This is a young rat I saw at Trout Lake, he/she is very tiny. I had to stand still for about half an hour to get this one! some of the rats were HUGE!!! I wish I could've gotten a picture of one!

Three ducklings at Trout Lake!

This is some cool looking orange webbing of some sort. It's amazing if you get it in just the right size.

Some Plantlife

This is a flower I took behind my Co-op, I like it because I took it when the sun was behind it, so I think it looks almost like it's glowing.

This is a Cone type plant that I saw at Whytecliff Park, I most like the tiny webbing just beneath the cone.

My parents love this one, It's just... really cool. The way you can see the water droplets and the flower.
